Established in 1852 by the Congregation of St. Basil and united with the University of Toronto, the University of St. Michael's College is a Catholic establishment of higher learning focused on the thorough quest for truth and which means. St. Michael's offers undergrad programs in Celtic Studies, Medieval Studies, Christianity and Culture and Book and Media Studies. Its three SMC One projects adopt an interdisciplinary strategy to inquiries of confidence (the Gilson Seminar in Faith and Ideas), innovation (the McLuhan Seminar in Creativity and Technology) and history (the Boyle Seminar in Scripts and Stories), and its First Year Foundations courses connect new understudies in conversation put together college level examinations centred with respect to a specific subject or topic.
