Canada AIPP - A Step By Step Process To Apply

Canada AIPP - A Step By Step Process To Apply

Canada has always been an immigrant-friendly nation, but some provinces have been more successful in attracting immigrant talent than others. Atlantic Immigration Pilot program (AIPP) is one of those provinces. An experienced Canada Immigration Consultant will do the job for those planning to apply for Canada AIPP.

Historically, Atlantic provinces attracted fewer immigrants compared to other areas. For the Atlantic, the Canada AIPP process is slightly different. The four other provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island offer a quicker, easier, and smoother route to Canadian permanent residence through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot program (AIPP).

Step By Step Process to Application

Step 1: Make sure you meet the IRCC Federal Eligibility Requirements

Step 2: Find full-time permanent employment in Sault Ste. Marie.

One of the requirements is that you are currently employed or have a job offer from an employer in Sault Ste. Marie. If not, apply for job postings that meet your past work experience and education. Please refrain from submitting an online application if you do not have a job offer from a local employer.

Please note the City of Sault Ste. Marie will not assist candidates with their job search. The applicant is responsible for obtaining your job offer from a local employer. Employers will conduct standard hiring practices, such as interviews and reference checks.

One must have the RNIP Offer of Employment form filled out and signed by your employer. The applicants must upload this form as part of their application.

Step 3: The applicant must check if they match the Community Requirements. The Community Recommendation Committee will be assessing the candidate's sites to the community to ensure you and your family are prepared to reside in Sault Ste. Marie, after you receive your permanent residency.

Step 4: Download and complete the RNIP Application Form IMM 5911E.

Step 5: Submit RNIP Application. The applicants without a job offer from a local employer should not apply. Anything submitted other than a completed application will be determined ineligible and discarded.

Step 6: A Sault Ste. Marie RNIP coordinator will request further documentation from you via email.

Documentation Should Include:

1. Resume

2. English Language test results: (e.g. IELTS, CELPIP test report forms)

3. Educational credential assessment

4. If educated in Canada, a copy of your certificate, diploma or degree

5. If in Canada, a copy of your work permit

6. If currently in Sault Ste. Marie, a copy of your rental/lease/home ownership agreement indicating you reside in Sault Ste. Marie

7. Possible further documentation that we may require as part of the process.

8. Please note that any documentation submitted to the RNIP Coordinator or Community Recommendation Committee must be copies only. All originals will be required for the permanent residency application to IRCC.

Step 7: The Community Recommendation Committee will review the application.

Step 8: If it is determined that the applicant meets the requirements of RNIP, they will be given a recommendation letter from the Community Recommendation Committee via e-mail.

Step 9: Using the recommendation letter, one can apply directly to IRCC for  Permanent Residency.

Step 10: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will do the further review, including medicals, financial documents and criminal record checks.
